Information You Submit
Names, telephone numbers, and addresses entered into a search form are sent to the third-party provider serving that result. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, the site may receive ordinary server-log information, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review that information in aggregate for operation and traffic measurement. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
The limited data described above is used to run, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the service. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to Maury County, Tennessee, library, archival, and third-party search services. Their own notices control information submitted on those services, including sponsored search results. Their availability, fees, and practices are outside our control.
Service Providers
Hosting and support providers may process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described here. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps logs only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no reader accounts, the service does not maintain a reader password or profile for this site.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a visitor under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has supplied information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Qualifying consumers may have rights under the Tennessee Information Protection Act, T.C.A. Title 47, Chapter 18, Part 33, to confirm and access covered personal information, correct or delete it, obtain portability, and opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. A covered controller generally has 45 days to respond and must offer an appeal process. Use the Contact page for a request concerning data we hold. TIPA has exemptions and does not erase public records whose release is required by law. Access to existing Tennessee public records is separately governed by the Tennessee Public Records Act, T.C.A. §§ 10-7-501 et seq., including § 10-7-503. A request to correct a Maury County deed, assessor record, voter record, or other public record belongs with its custodian.
